BOAT TRIP on the CARLISLE

At one time there were over 12,000 boats in the famed Puget Sound Mosquito fleet. The Carlisle is one of two remaining boats in operation . . . the oldest still existing boat of the famous Mosquito Fleet, once so important to the transport of goods, passengers and mail throughout Puget Sound. Built in 1917, this little treasure still transports people between Bremerton and Port Orchard every day.

Take a two-hour ride with us as we sail by Gorst (remarkable history there), the Naval Shipyard, and the Bremerton and Port Orchard shorelines. Historian and guide extraordinary, Bob Ulsh, will be entertaining and enlightening us as we go. We will board and disembark on the Bremerton side and, following the boat trip, will congregate downtown at the Historical Museum for a delicious lunch by Humble Pie Catering.

Don't forget to include children and grand-children in this interesting morning.
You will be amazed by how much they learn.
