As part of the ongoing effort to discover and document the history of this region, the Kitsap County Historical Society offers a cost-effective research service to individuals seeking information about a person, place, or event that may be contained in the extensive KCHS collections of documents.

Research Fees
Our staff provides 30 minutes of research at no charge.

In-Person Research
KCHS welcomes researchers by appointment only. The research area is supervised. Only paper and pencil are allowed. No briefcases, bags, backpacks, or purses may be taken into the area.
Research appointments are available on Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. To make an appointment, please call the museum at 360-479-6226 or email research@kitsaphistory.org.
